Careers: Human Resources Manager


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process payroll and associated reporting
  • Assist in recruiting, and onboarding, conduct new employee orientation
  • Monitor and administer compensation and benefits, including enrollments, updates and terminations.
  • Work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out the responsibilities on personnel matters
  • Maintain human resources information system, employee databases, and files
  • Coordinate employee safety, welfare and wellness
  • Maintain and update knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR function
  • Create, plan and administer HR policies and procedures
  • Handle HR inquiries related to verifications of employment or TWC requests
  • Other duties as required

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years Human Resources experience
  • A genuine desire to find ways of implementing best practices, refining processes and tools.  
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Exchange, Excel, Outlook; DocuSign)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with speed, precision and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills; high sense of urgency; ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience in negotiating with vendors
  • Experience in BRIX is a plus

  • Report to the Office/Community daily to adhere to schedule
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers, higher-level manager, and others as needed
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
  • Ability to move around work environment including construction sites
  • Comply with company policies and procedure

Physical Demands:

  • The ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
